As adidas Baseball continued to gain momentum from the grass roots scene to the Big Leagues, more and more MLB players wanted to sign with the three stripes. At one time our only athlete worth marketing was Kris Bryant and all of a sudden we found ourselves with not only the reigning MVP, but names like Aaron Judge, Alex Bregman, Fernando Tatis Jr., and Carlos Correa. My role was to develop clear athlete positioning and segmentation for all of the tier one players on our roster. This work would then dictate how the brand worked with these athletes, where they showed up, and what products they wore. This work sparked a real joy within me and a passion for representing athletes well.
